SHIIINE ON WEEKENDER RETURNS TO SKEGNESS — 19–21 MARCH 2027
Track of the week: ASH ‘Bittersweet Blue’
Track of the Week: Pete Fij ‘Wake Up Honey’
This week comes from the unmistakable voice of ex Adorable frontman and songwriter Pete Fij. Wake Up Honey is another step towards his long-awaited debut solo album Ups the Down.
Chiming guitars and irresistible hooks offer a more uplifting feel and sound on this latest single from the album.
As Pete explains: “‘Wake Up Honey’ is a tribute to all my fellow losers and dreamers out there. The video captures the spirit of the ‘90s video games I imagine the protagonist of the song playing; blissfully stuck in his own dreamworld, unaware that he’s been dumped!”
Ups the Down is released on 25th September via the Tip Top Recordings Label.
Wake Up Honey is on all the usual streaming platforms right now!
We are delighted to announce that Pete Fij is joining us on our Shiiine On Weekender in Skegness 2027.
