Michael Head & The Red Elastic Band have announced details of the release of a new track, ‘Josephine’, which will be available digitally from Friday June 16^th 2017 on Violette Records.

Produced by Michael Head and fellow Red Elastic Band member Steve Powell, the track is taken from their forthcoming album, Head’s first in over a decade, due later this summer.

The Red Elastic Band is the latest musical venture of Liverpool’s legendary, much loved & acclaimed songwriter, Michael Head, whose previous band’s included The Pale Fountains, Shack and The Strands. They released their debut EP, Artorius Revisited, in 2013.

Additionally, having recently played at the People Powered #OurNHS show at the Academy in Liverpool and a sold out Hebden Bridge Trades Club, Michael Head has announced a performance at London’s historic Union Chapel.

The date is 8^th September, London Union Chapel.
