Track Of The Week: Blitz Vega ‘Love City’

This week’s is quite a fitting and poignant one. Blitz Vega are the band formed  by the late Andy Rourke and musical partner Kav Sandhu. “Love City” has been released to coincide and mark the one year anniversary of the untimely passing of the brilliant Andy Rourke .

“Love City” is the final taster of the imminent and highly anticipated debut album “Northern Gentleman”

“It was one of those special nights, the excitement of going out, letting your hair down & forgetting your troubles. Enjoying the variety of life that L.A. had to offer. This song is about experiencing your own individual journey but ultimately ending up in the same place / viewpoint as the people you meet along the way. You can look at it simply as the magic of a great night out where everything falls into place or a life journey which shapes the way you think. But hopefully it makes you smile a little, it’s a happy song”.

Love City is out now with the debut album Northern Gentlemen following in September.
