Track of the Week: Cast ‘Calling Out Your Name’

Track of the week: The Stone Roses ‘She Bangs the Drums’
Track of the Week: The Enemy ‘Not Going Your Way’
The Enemy are back! A Triumphant UK tour over the last few weeks has heralded the news of long awaited and overdue new material. If you are coming back go big, and new single Not Going Your Way is an absolute high adrenaline punch the air banger that The Enemy do best.
The single is a first taster of new album Social Disguises that is heading our way in February – produced by Matt Terry who the band have worked with previously to great effect and success.
Tom Clarke says, “We tried to make this album in the same frame of mind that we made our first, as though we were making the follow-up to it. It took a year to write, around 90 demos, and another year in the studio. I’m very proud of it. We all are. Whatever success it does or doesn’t enjoy I feel like we all succeeded in making a great record we can be proud of forever.
The band conclude their tour this week with two big nights at the Coventry Empire. 2026 is going to be a big one for The Enemy, an arena tour with Ocean Colour Scene already announced for November. We are delighted The Enemy are going to headline for our return to Skegness in March 2026 for our Shiiine on Weekender. What an opening Friday night that is going to be!
The single is available on all streaming sites now with the album due in mid-February.
You can secure your place for our Shiine On weekender in Skegness at www.shiiineon.com (Our last weekender at Skegness SOLD OUT very early last year)
