Track of the week: ASH ‘Bittersweet Blue’

This weeks totw is a unearthed gem of a lost track that may still be familiar with the ASH watchers and fans that were onboard early doors in their career. Bittersweet Blue was written pre the recording of debut album 1977 and played live moist pointedly at the Point Depot in Dublin supporting Therapy, get those bootlegs out!

The track was jettisoned from the bands thinking and creative flow once the recording of debut album 1977 commenced at Rockfield studios. As a bonus to coincide the debut album anniversary – the track gets a chance to breathe again and released to the wider world 30 years on.
