Track of the week: Deja Vega ‘You Only Like Me in Stars’
This week comes from Shiiine On perennials / favourites / guaranteed to blow the roof of every time Deja Vega. I can lavish all the superlatives available to try and summarize the twists and turns and full on sonics of a Deja vega live set – yet still not nail the perfect way to encapsulate the live experience of their music – Something that can only be captured and cherished with your own immersive ears from the Winsford wizards of sound.
“You Only Like Me In Stars” is the opening salvo from the upcoming 3rd album they have “in the can” and recently recorded at Edge studios in Stockport. There is no confirmed release date yet – but as the saying goes “Stay tuned” and plans are afoot!
The first but of action for the calendar is their return to our Shiine On weekender in November (as per) preceded by a Manchester headline gig at the New Century Hall and a new live space called the locker room. We have it on good authority that tickets are vey low for the Manchester gig, so if you want a pre-shiiine fixe you know what to do!
