Track of the week: Deja Vega ‘You Only Like Me in Stars’
This week is a summer festival anthem in the making – that heralds the glorious return of the York four-piece Skylights. The hiatus is over and they are firing on all cylinders with new track “Fever”
Skylights are one of those great stories of a band that hand belief and passion in what they were doing and their music – no big budgets and financing to fall back on , just pure word of mouth and the positive aspect of social media kicking in with mates telling mates to give them a follow and listen -that has spread far and wide along the way over the last few years.
“Fever” is a full-on hands in the air moment that comes close to capturing the energy and spirit of what they do best, playing live to a full room of people just plain and simply having it!
Rob from Skylight “It’s an upbeat summer song for driving around on a sunny day or having a beer.”
Skylights have live dates coming up that can be found on their social pages as they are added.
Fever will be released on all the usual streaming platforms from the 29th May
Very Ltd Physical copies are available from Vinyl Eddie records in York or the Skylights web shop via their socials -while stocks last.
In the meantime, to whet the appetite get on this exclusive preview of the new video to “Fever” …. Its ace.
