Inspiral Carpets: Drag the bag

This week TOTW comes from Shiiine On perennials and our very first weekender headliners Inspiral Carpets.

The continuous live work and sell out tours has moved them on to release the first brand new single in 12 years. Drag The Bag is from a forthcoming brand-new album as well that will be hitting us before the end of the year.

Inspirals on the new single: Drag the bag is inspired by the exhausting reality of shuffling between trains, taxis and long-distance gigs, it’s a track grounded in the reality of daily and a metaphor for the baggage we all carry.

The Inspirals are hitting the road with a glut of dates starting in Chester up and around England and Scotland around their festival appearances – before a tour with The Wonder Stuff later in the year.

Drag the Bag is now out on all the usual streaming platforms via their social pages.

Inspiral Carpets are heading to Minehead for our Shiine On weekender in November. As I write this there is literally a couple of rooms left if you are planning to join us along with fellow headliners Happy Mondays – The Wonder Stuff – Feeder – Hard Fi and more…
