TRACK OF THE WEEK: Sleeper ‘End Of The World’

This week’s track sees the long welcome return of new material from Shiiine on favourites and Britpop icons Sleeper.

“End of the World” is the lead track and title of their brand-new album released in February 2027. The new album sees Sleeper being produced by Joe Cross (The Courteeners, Slow Readers Club) and written and recorded between Paris & Manchester.

Louise Weiner on the new album “It’s a very different record for me, I’m Gen X, we tend not to confront our emotions or display them easily to the outside world. There’s strength in that, but also solitude. I got to the point where I felt I was dissolving. Like if I didn’t put my discomfort somewhere, I’d cease to exist.”

Sleeper will be embarking on a big UK to usher in the arrival of the new album. Slap bang in the middle Sleeper will play our Shiiine on Skegness weekender 2027 on our biggest skeg bill to date.
