Track of the Week: HI FI Sean ‘Waiting For The Sun’
Track of the Week: Ash ‘Give Me Back My World’
On the day ASH announced the news of their ninth album Ad Astra the blessed us with the release of a storming new single off it GIVE ME BACK MY WORLD.
The new album out in October will be 11 brand new tracks including the off the wall but brilliant previous single Jump In the Line. There is also news of a guest and guitar playing royalty in the shape of Graham Coxon who guests on two of the brand-new album tracks.
lead singer and guitarist Tim Wheeler comments on new single ‘Give Me Back My World’: “If I told you this song dates back to 2020, you’d hardly need a degree from the school of Marple, Holmes and Poirot to figure out what it’s getting at. And although those sentiments may be just a memory from the standpoint of 2025, the song’s heart still feels relevant. In a time of chaos, disruption and angst there’s still a beautiful world out there and it’s worth fighting for.”
The new album lands just prior to ASH making a triumphant headlining return to play our 10th Shiiine On weekender in Minehead. How good were they in Skegness? It was sonly right they graced our main stage in Minehead once more after a glorious and much talked about set a couple of years ago.
The single is out now on all the usual streaming sights.
